Phone Call Consultation

Your phone consultation is a chance for us to talk through your child's learning and communication needs – and their strength, too. Most importantly, we want to make sure we are the right fit for you and your family.

Personalized Evaluation

Every child's needs are different, which is why we take the time to understand your child's experience, goals, and challenges before we begin. This allows us to build an assessment truly tailored to them. That way, we can use the results to measure progress and celebrate growth along their journey.

  • If the phone consultation leaves us unsure of whether the concerns are within developmental expectations, we provide:

    • Screenings of hearing, speech, and language development.

    • Comprehensive speech and language evaluation lasts three to four hours, and includes standardized as well as informal assessments.

    • Separate interview conducted with the parents prior to evaluation, lasting about one hour.

    • Report of findings provided.

    • Follow-up session with parents, lasting about one hour.

In Person Therapy

Stacey primarily offers in-person contact hours at her office space in Lincoln Park, Chicago. Stacey is a licensed speech-language pathologist and provides personalized therapy. She focuses on the whole child, not just speech and language skills, while working together with families, schools, and students to create goals and provide foundational skills and strategies to address them.

    • Services provided in office with outings to surrounding community as applicable

    • Speech and/or language treatment, as deemed necessary

    • Progress reports completed one to two times per year

    • Methods based on current theories of best practices

Telepractice Options

Stacey is a licensed speech-language pathologist in Michigan, New York, and California and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). If your family moves or your child attends college in one of these states, they may be able to continue therapy with Stacey through telepractice.

Telepractice may also provide a convenient alternative when a student has sensory needs, commuting to Lincoln Park is difficult, or other factors (such as illness) prevent them from attending an in-person session.
